In 2010, I started Gerard Marketing Group as a remote-first marketing agency. Our team of 12+ from across the country collaborated in the cloud. We found that the best ideas don’t happen from 8 - 5 in a cube, wearing khakis. Not only did it enhance our creativity, it also allowed us to bring in talent without geographic limitations.

In my current role as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Moneta, over the last three years we grew from a brand showing up only at local events and in small publications to a national brand.

It started with just myself and one other team member doing all of the work ourselves. Today, we have a new tech stack and a team of 15 internal and external team members who, together, have been able to lower the cost per impression on marketing tactics from $350/impression in 2018 down to $.08/impression today.
